It’s the 25th century. The game was released in 2010, on February 2. It required a monthly fee first, but later it was transferred to free to play. Every player is a captain of their ship, and the other character on the ship are NPCs which are referred to as bridge officers. The players can play as a captain and as a ship, controlling the engineering, science and tactical systems, and the two combat modes are intertwined as well. The rank of the player is determined by points, which are awarded for every 1000 resource units invested into ships, defense, research or construction.
